Sporting Activities

All classes have timetabled sports lessons conducted both in the school premises and outside.  The school is privileged to be a member of the Girls Youth Centre in Agouza, which is a government sporting complex easily accessed in the school bus. Classes are taken there regularly during their Sports lessons and can perform following activities there:

• Athletics

Interest based Activities

Thursday afternoon is dedicated to interest-based activities (alternating Junior/Senior) where students choose from a wide range of options. Some of which are listed here:

• Football

• Aerobics

• Chess

• Recitation of Holy Quran

• Cartoon drawing

• Needlework ( Knitting & Embroidery )

• Cooking and food decorating

• Science Projects ( for Juniors only )

• African step dance

• Debating

• Miming

• Photography

• Karate

• Creative writing

• Computer

Inter School Competitions

PISC participates enthusiastically and successfully in various inter school sporting competitions organized from time to time.

Inter House Competition 

All students are assigned a House group at PISC and sporting events are held on the basis of inter-house competitions. The House with the most points at the end of the year is awarded a trophy.
