Owing to the high quality, moderately
priced education provided and a wide range of
extra-curricular activities offered, a large number of
Embassies and International Organizations in Cairo have
chosen to register their children at the PISC. It has
around 240 students from nearly 40 countries, starting
from the age of 4 years (K.G.) and going up to 17/18
years for the IGCSE and 'A’ level students. A qualified
and highly experienced 36 strong faculty, hailing from
11 nationalities work together as a team under an
experienced Principal, who in turn is guided and
supervised by the Board of Governors headed by His
Excellency the Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt.
Together, they ensure maintenance of a high standard of
instructions with the help of the latest teaching
methodologies, modern facilities and equipment.
The school is affiliated with Cambridge
University in the U.K. It is licensed to prepare the
students in twenty five different subjects for the
International General Certificate of Secondary Education
(IGCSE) and the GCE 'AS' and ‘A’ level exams. The PISC
is also affiliated with the Federal Board of
Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad,
Pakistan. Students in the age group 14 to 18 years sit
for the Secondary School Certificate exams conducted by
the FBISE, Islamabad.
In addition to high academic standards, a
wide range of activities including Music, Art and
various Sports is offered to develop our students’
talents and potentials in a friendly and challenging
atmosphere. Our Library has a large collection of books,
periodicals, encyclopedias, videos and CDs. The school
has well equipped Science and Computer Laboratories. All
its classrooms are air-conditioned, well-lit and
provided with comfortable chairs and desks and carpeted
floors.
