Science
Laboratories:-
|

The school has
three well equipped science laboratories in which students
conduct their practical work under close supervision by the
science teachers. This facilitates the students integrating
theoretical perspectives imparted in the classroom with the
practical and applied aspects making it easier for them to
understand the scientific concepts.

Library:-

The school has a well stocked and
well-organized library equipped with audio-visual aids and
computer assisted borrowing facilities. Scientific, social and
cultural video cassettes and cartoon films are also regularly
screened for the children appropriate to their age groups. The
library has been provided with thousands of books and
publications in different fields as well as Encyclopaedias for
the students benefit to upgrade their knowledge, improve their
reading skills and supplement their classroom work.

Computer
Laboratory:-
|
|
PISC is fully cognizant of the
increasingly important role of IT and computers in the modern-
day societies. We take pride in the fact that PISC was the first
school in Egypt to offer Computer Studies at the IGCSE “O”, “AS”
and “A” levels. We have a first-rate computer laboratory with
DSL Internet connection and high-caliber Computer Instructors
who have regularly been producing outstanding results in
Computer Studies at all levels of IGCSE. Computer Studies is
taught as a compulsory subject at all levels from class I upto
the pre-IGCSE stage.

Music:-
|
|
A well versed music teacher gives
music lessons to all classes. She trains them to participate in
various school events and functions of the school throughout the
year. Music is taught in a manner that stimulates enjoyment and
interest. Students progressively learn musical skills and
knowledge through the activities of listening, performing and
composing. A well equipped musical room is designated for
musical lessons and activities.

Medical
Check-up and advisory facilities: -
|
|
The school has on its staff a
qualified full-time doctor, and boasts a well-equipped
dispensary/sick-room for the benefit of students and staff who
may fall sick or get hurt at the school. The school doctor
conducts regular medical and physical check-ups of all students,
and renders end-of-term Check-up and Medical Advisory reports to
parents. He is also responsible for providing first aid/medical
attendance and advice to all students and staff in case of
need.

Outings
and Exursions:-

Well planned
outings and excursions are organized as an important means of
widening the students’ outlook. These are arranged under the
close supervision of teachers and administration.

Parents-Teachers
meetings:-
|

Parents-Teachers Meetings are held regularly to provide a chance
to each and every parent to air their views, pool ideas and
formulate plans for future goals of the school. Regular and
frequent contacts between parents and teachers help in
identification of children’s educational and behavioral problems
and their solutions.

Transport:-

The school
offers air conditioned bus service on payment to most areas in
Cairo including Dokki, Mohandessin, Agouza and Maadi. The school
buses are insured for all passengers and have bus-monitors to
look after the students all the way from being picked up until
they are dropped back after school.

Disciplinary Board:-
|

Proper investigation
of any reported disciplinary cases violation of school rules or
offences committed by students is conducted by a disciplinary
board consisting of the Principal, Academic Co-ordinators and
and the concerned Class Teacher.

Canteen:-

A small but well stocked canteen is located
inside the school premises where hygienic and healthy food is
available at reasonable prices for students of all ages. The
Canteen Committee and School Doctor inspect the school canteen
on a regular basis for over-seeing its prices, cleanliness and
hygiene standards.

Birthday
Celebrations:-
|
|
Birthdays have a very special meaning for a
child, particularly the younger ones. The school ensures that
this special day in the life of its young students is shared by
his/her other classmates. A special birthday cake is provided by
the school and served in the class on the birthdays of all
children from K.G. upto class five.
